INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a child was struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon.

Police said the juvenile was hit shortly after 4 p.m. near 34th and Allison Avenue , just east of Moller Road on the northwest side of Indianapolis.

Medics transported the juvenile to Riley Hospital in critical condition.

Police say the vehicle that hit the person did not stop at the scene.
