JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) - A man was injured during a shooting in South Jackson.

The shooting occurred on Wooddell Drive on October 27, 2025.

According to Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), the victim was in serious condition when officers arrived. The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Jackson police have not released any information about a suspect.
