MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — It's not uncommon this time of year for a deer to run out right in front of your car. Collision centers in Monroe County say that's exactly what is bringing many customers in, like at Pocono Motion on North Fifth Street in Stroudsburg.

"We are getting a load of deer hits. It's the beginning of rut season, and it lasts until about December, and it's just insane how many deer hits we're getting right now," said Richard Banks, Pocono Motion Body Shop owner.

Banks says right now his shop is repairing about seven vehicles a week.
