The Ontario SPCA Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Animal Centre held its second-annual Scares & Spares fundraiser at Nativity Bowling on Sunday afternoon.
It attracted 48 bowlers who made donations of $35 per person or $140 per lane to the animal centre that will help with the many operational costs necessary for rescuing animals, and ensuring their wellness in the hopes of finding a forever home.

A Halloween Pet Photoshoot was also held on Oct. 18 at Stacy’s Pet Depot.
The centre’s next event is a rabies booster clinic this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nativity Bowling.
