GIRARD, Ohio - What began as a small idea to help local families with everyday essentials has grown into a movement that’s changing lives across the Mahoning Valley. Thrive 10:10, a nonprofit based inside Girard First United Methodist Church, is celebrating a major milestone, earning national recognition as a certified consultant for the Bridges Out of Poverty training program.
The new designation allows Thrive 10:10 to partner with businesses, churches, and community organizations across the country to deepen understanding of poverty - its causes, its impact, and how to foster real, sustainable change.
Executive Director and Co-Founder Meghan DeGregory says Thrive 10:10 was born from a simple act of compassion.
