The university also relieved offensive coordinator Joe Sloan of his coaching duties. Their dismissals came after recent sluggish offensive performances and an embarrassing 49-25 loss at home to Texas A&M.

“We deserve national championships, that’s why a lot of people come to school here is to watch our football team succeed, and it’s just not happening right now,” said LSU student Carson Castro.
