OREM, Utah — Utah Valley University has provided FOX 13 News with the document that created the rally at which conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot to death last month, but is not providing the security plan for that day.
FOX 13 News has been asking the university for records related to the September 10 Kirk rally in which he was shot in front of thousands of those in attendance. After nearly six weeks, the first record provided is the application submitted mid-July by the UVU chapter of Kirk’s Turning Point USA organization.
The applicants answered standard questions about time, place, and a description of the event. However, we noticed one question was not asked on the form: Whether organizers needed any police protection.
