SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -Next weekend, along with the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, you can help “fix it forward.”
It’s all part of their spray/neuter clinic on Nov. 8 and 9, as part of the ongoing efforts to reduce pet overpopulation and improve the health and well-being of our furry friends.
These services can prevent unwanted litters, stop undesirable behaviors like marking territory and aggression, and decrease the risk for certain cancers and infections.
The Humane Society says that’s why it’s important to secure your spot while you can.
“Our vets are usually taken up with other surgeries and other needs,” said Karima Gilbert with the Humane Society. “For this weekend only (Nov. 8-9), they’re going to focus just on the spaying and neutering to get more of those done as many
