This year, you can try turning them into mulch for your garden.
Leaves and leaf mold, often called garden gold, are highly nutritious soil amendments that can be used as a mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds. Not only is it simple to create, but it also doesn’t cost you anything.
“If you get up there and you mulch the leaves multiple times and do it more often than you think you need to, it’s going to be less work overall because you’re going to be able to get over the top of the leaves and get them mulched up instead of just pushing them around,” said Shawn Jones with 417 Mowing.
