DUGGER, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Earlier this month, we told you how a Sullivan County man hopes to become the first blind person to complete what's called the "Explorers Grand Slam." He is now one climbing experience away from doing it.
The challenge includes climbing the highest peaks on every continent and trekking to the North and South Poles.
Earlier this month, we caught up with Bedwell as he packed for his trip to Australia.
Bedwell posted on social media that he's now climbed all of the highest peaks, conquering the final peak in the land down under. He has also gone to the South Pole.
The only thing left to do in order to complete the grand slam is by going to the North Pole.
