The Steelers have finally made a move at wide receiver.
Per Jeremy Fowler, the Steelers are signing wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Pittsburgh brought in the veteran for a workout on Monday, and the former Packer and Chief plans to sign with Pittsburgh and reunite with Aaron Rodgers. Valdes-Scantling spent 2018-21 with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, catching 13 touchdowns in that span.
We’ll see if this is the only move the Steelers make at the position, as they’ve been connected to Jakobi Meyers of the Las Vegas Raiders as a serious trade candidate. The Raiders signed former Seahawks receiver Tyler Lockett, and Meyers has made it very known he wants to be traded.
