GRAND FORKS — UND Sophomore running back Sawyer Seidl just keeps making plays that turn heads and this season, there have been plenty.
Touchdowns from every angle — rushing, receiving, and even on kick returns — proving that he’s the kind of player who can do it all.
But Seidl’s story goes far beyond the stats.
Born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sawyer and his brother Simon were adopted from an orphanage in 2010. Today, both are living out dreams that once seemed impossible. Simon as a defensive back at the University of Minnesota, and Sawyer as a rising star at UND.
