Authorities served a search warrant in East Los Angeles on Monday in connection to the Esparto warehouse explosion, Cal Fire said. The Office of the State Fire Marshal’s Arson and Bomb Unit, working with the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office and other agencies, discovered explosives that prompted a bomb squad and hazmat response. Garfield High School, located within 1,000 feet of the scene, was evacuated as a precaution. No injuries were reported, and officials have released no further details.
