Roving UHub photographer Jake Kassen paused to admire the majesty that is a flatbed truck that suddenly dies just as it's crossing the Green Line at Blandford Street, jamming up trolleys in both directions right in the middle of rush hour.

From Green Line dispatch radio traffic, sounds like its brakes might have frozen, just as the driver was inching across the tracks around 5:45 p.m.

The T advised customers to take the 57 bus between Kenmore and Packards Corner.

Shortly after 7 p.m., the T reported the truck had been moved and service was resuming, with, of course, residual delays.
