EAST HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) -- An investigation has been launched after a woman was found dead on a sidewalk in East Harlem on Monday evening, according to the NYPD.
The NYPD was notified around 6:33 p.m. by the MTA Police that there was an unconscious woman at East 124th Street and Park Avenue.
Police say the woman was unresponsive, lying on the sidewalk.
EMS declared the woman dead at the scene. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
No other information was immediately available.
