EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Evansville-Vanderburgh Airport Authority held a master plan open house Monday.

They hold open houses like this every five to ten years to give Evansville residents a look at the airport’s plans for the future.

Their current plans include airfield improvements, expanding terminals and increased parking.

Officials say they plan to continue supporting corporate travel.

“We’re always thinking about the future, and we’re always moving forward,” says Nate Hahn, Executive Director of Evansville Regional Airport. “A lot of this information isn’t necessarily new or surprising to us, but it is important for the community to understand that as you build the community, that the airport is building as well.”
