AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department is seeking public help to identify a man accused of assaulting a person with a baseball bat in June.
Austin Police said the incident occurred on June 1 around 3 a.m. in the 300 block of Colorado Street.
The department said the victim picked up a crown from the ground, which provoked the suspect who then assaulted the victim with the bat.
The suspect is described as a black man in his early 30s, has short black hair and a mustache, police said. Images of the suspect are provided by APD below.
