SAN ANTONIO — A man is expected to spend more than 30 years in prison for killing a woman at a northwest-side apartment complex back in April 2024, according to the Bexar County District Attorney's Office.
A press release states that Reynaldo Rios was sentenced to 38 years for the murder of Angelina Hernandez, who was found shot in the courtyard of the Legacy Flats Apartments on Shaenfield Road on April 18, 2024.
Officials said during a meetup arranged through Instagram, Rios shot Hernandez in front of her apartment complex and fled the scene. In an effort to identify the suspect responsible for Hernandez's death, authorities asked for the public's help through Crime Stoppers.
