NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - An ethics complaint against Metro Councilmember Joy Kimbrough was dismissed on Monday afternoon.
Kimbrough was accused of asking a developer for half a million dollars in exchange for political support.
Businessman Ryan Moses wants to redevelop 25 acres of land in Bordeaux, in Kimbrough’s district, but the project has been rejected by both the planning commission and neighbors.

Moses testified that he offered to create a community benefit agreement and promised $35,000 a year for five years to a neighborhood nonprofit, but he said Kimbrough allegedly said the half-million dollars would go somewhere else.
