MADISON (WKOW) -- As the Madison Police Department (MPD) and the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) investigate accusations of sexual assault against two Whitehorse Middle School staff members, the mother of the child at the center of the allegations spoke out at Monday night's MMSD Board of Education meeting.

27 News is not naming the mother in order to protect the identity of her child.

She came forward, in person, during the public comment portion of Monday's board meeting at the Doyle Administration Building. She said her child has a disability and said it's heartbreaking that he may not be believed.
