Two separate sexual assault investigations involving Coweta students are underway, according to Coweta Public Schools. The district confirmed both incidents happened at Sloate Junior High.
A crowd gathered at the district's administration building, asking the superintendent for answers.
"We need a meeting," said Twanika Boysel, a parent of a Coweta student.
Max Myers, superintendent of Coweta Schools, listened to the concerns.
"These incidents that we're investigating are sad, and I hate it for the students that have gone through that," he said.
Myers said the district followed the right policies when learning about the incidents from students.
