Coffee prices are climbing nationwide, affecting both roasters and coffee shops — including some in Green Country.
McKenzie Dildy, owner of Fulfilled Coffee in Owasso, said he began noticing coffee bean prices rise about a year ago. Since then, he’s had to raise menu prices — a latte that cost $5 last year now sells for $6.
“I have always just enjoyed coffee and grew up drinking coffee with my grandpas, and it sparked that love of it for me,” Dildy said.
Dildy started roasting beans at home before turning his hobby into Fulfilled Coffee in Owasso. He imports beans from around the world, roasting each batch in-house for the perfect flavor.
“We import from a lot of different countries,” he said. “We have some from Guatemala, Ethiopia—we have done some from Peru.”
