SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz remain undefeated at home through two games, surviving overtime after a late Phoenix Suns comeback at Delta Center on Monday.
Lauri Markkanen was the hero for Utah, dropping a career-high 51 points. It was the first regular-season 50-point game for Utah this century. The last came from Karl Malone in 1998.
Walker Kessler and Keyonte George also played very well, both posting double-doubles. Kessler finished with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks. George posted 26 points and 10 assists.
The Utah Jazz will stay at home for their next game against the Portland Trailblazers on Wednesday, October 29.
