PHOENIX (AZFamily) — After a motorcycle crash left her paralyzed from the waist down, 52-year-old Celeste Glover is proving that determination has no limits.
Just two years after a tragic accident changed her life, Glover is preparing to compete in the 5k event at the Tucson Garmin Marathon , and she plans to wheel the entire race backward. Glover was an avid motorcyclist who loved long-distance rides. In July 2023, she and her husband were traveling through Montana when an antelope suddenly jumped in front of her motorcycle.
“I swerved, did not hit the animal,” Glover said. “I went off the road and was thrown off the bike.”
