MANCHESTER, N.H. —

A woman's body was found Sunday just before 1:30 p.m. near a construction site on Birch Street, Derry police said.

Surveillance video from a few days earlier shows her walking into the area.

Authorities said she appeared to be alone and may have been sick or impaired before falling into a retention pond, where she died.

Workers discovered her body while landscaping the site. Police said there is no indication of foul play.

The woman has been identified, but her name hasn't been released. The incident remains under investigation.
