The idea of using artificial rain to wash away smog is now being tried in India’s capital. Cloud seeding is being seen as a hopeful tool for helping Delhi breathe easier but it comes with a big if. The technique involves adding particles into clouds (like silver iodide or salt) to encourage rainfall. While it holds promise for both pollution control and water scarcity, its effectiveness depends entirely on the right weather.
