QUINCY — The Quincy City Council recognized Bella Ease for the community work the organization does, making them one of the first recipients for recognition during the upcoming "Extra Mile Month" in November.

Mayor Linda Moore noted that in preparing to mark Nov. 1 as Extra Mile Day, it became apparent that there were too many individuals and organizations to recognize in just one day. Instead, Moore proclaimed the month of November as "Extra Mile Month," with the intent to recognize those giving back to the community every day in the month.

Bella Ease was singled out for the organization's dedication to provide education opportunities at no cost to the residents of Quincy. Moore presented the certificate of recognition to Bella Ease co-founder Dennis Williams. She thanked Williams and a
