It’s not every day Warriors superstar guard Steph Curry drops a hilarious line—much less assumes uncle status.

But thanks to the Warriors’ young core’s performance in Golden State’s 131-118 bounce-back win over the Memphis Grizzlies at Chase Center, Curry, 37, dropped a hilarious blurb for the ages, embracing the humorous social media slang term “unc.”

To describe the Warriors’ veteran trio, that is.

“It’s just how we play. There’s not a lot of iso ball in our offense. So, we have to have guys who have confidence that if a possession says it’s your turn to finish, they’re able to make plays,” Curry told reporters.

“There will be games when all the ‘uncs’ are out, and they [the young core] will have to step up. So we want to be able to fill that gas tank as well. It is huge.”
