In his 14th season coaching cross-country at Savannah Arts, Steve Ricciardi has worked hard to foster a winning culture and develop one of the top programs in the state.

His Panther girls teams have been a dominating force in the GHSA's Class 2A. Savannah Arts won its first girls state cross country title in 2022, finished third in 2023, and won the championship again last year. This girls team has been in prime form this season with wins in six straight meets headed into the Class 2A Sectional 1 meet, a state qualifier, set for Saturday, Nov. 1, in Commerce.
