Australia’s ambassador to the United States, Kevin Rudd, has reappeared in Canberra just days after a tense diplomatic exchange between the former Labor prime minister and President Donald Trump made global headlines.
Mr Rudd, who was approached at Parliament House by Sky News Political Reporter Cameron Reddin, broke his silence following President Trump’s insistence "when they say bad about me, I don’t forget" when discussing the ambassador last week.
Appearing upbeat, Mr Rudd told Sky News he was in the capital alongside Trade Minister Don Farrell to speak at an event promoting US-Australia investment.
