PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Portsmouth Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a woman injured on Tuesday.
According to police, officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 10 block of Neville Street around 12:08 a.m. When they arrived, they found an adult female suffering from gunshot wounds that were determined to be non-life-threatening.
Medics transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Investigators have not released any additional details, and no information about a suspect or possible motive has been shared at this time.
