Soaking rain Tuesday before damaging wind potential, Rusty says

Tuesday will bring widespread rain followed by what looks to be an increased potential for damaging wind in the Omaha metro.

A First Alert 6 Weather Day has been called for Tuesday as rain will be steady the majority of the day and that will cause temperatures to fall.

“An early high of 52 is what most of us in the metro will see...Rain persists all day and into the night eventually resulting in some 1″ rain totals near and east of the river," Senior Chief Meteorologist Rusty Lord says.
