Organ Mountain's girls' soccer team has had reasons to celebrate so far.

The Knights have won the girls' District 3-5A championship with a 9-1 district record and a 17-3 overall record. Organ Mountain's only embellishment came in a 3-0 home loss to Centennial on Oct. 21, and it outscored district opponents 35-7.

The Knights finished two games above second-place Centennial in the district standings. Key players in the field included senior Claire Amundson, juniors Gisele Turnbow and Ariyah Vasquez, sophomore Hailey Justus and freshmen Persephonie Cullins and Chloe Robey. Freshman Ashley Black had a stellar breakout season as the Knights' primary goalkeeper.
