A man was found dead along Pennsylvania game lands in Westmoreland County, on Saturday, according to state police.

The body of Robert Friend, 64, was found by a hunter near the Mannitto Golf Course in Loyalhanna Township, Westmoreland County.

He had no ID on him, was not wearing any hunting equipment and had visible wounds.

State police said they believe Friend died some time between late Friday night and early Saturday morning and said they are considering his death to be suspicious.

“We are basically starting from scratch,” Trooper Steve Limani said during a press conference, per WTAE. “This is a whodunit, most likely from the start. We found it and now it’s like a test of all tests for an investigator.”
