The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an extremely heavy rainfall alert due to Cyclone Montha in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh for Tuesday.

The four states will be battered by heavy rains and gusts for the next two days.

All of coastal Andhra Pradesh is on high alert as the cyclone made landfall around the Kakinada region. The Rayalaseema region will also see extremely heavy rainfall throughout the next two days.
