Assembled on the data nuts and bolts of the region’s economy, the report crunches numbers previously not disaggregated.
It draws on 80 indicators — right down to consumer spending data from Moneris card transactions — for a three-dimensional model of the regional economy.
Edmonton’s strong suits include affordability, a skilled workforce, and a place as a major regional hub.
