MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Main Street Morgantown is inviting families to get into the Halloween spirit this week during the organization’s annual Downtown Trick-or-Treat event.
The celebration will take place Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. along High Street and surrounding areas in downtown Morgantown. Hundreds of children and their families are expected to take part in the community tradition, which offers a safe and festive way to celebrate Halloween.
Participating downtown merchants will hand out candy, offer in-store specials and highlight seasonal promotions throughout the evening.
Organized in collaboration with downtown businesses, the event aims to encourage families to explore and support local shops while enjoying a night of Halloween fun in the heart of the city.
