MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Louisiana State Police arrested a Monroe man who is accused of committing insurance fraud.

LSP arrested Adrian Sampson, 21, in Bossier City on Oct. 24. Sampson is accused of 16 counts of insurance fraud, 16 counts of aggravated criminal damage to property, 16 counts of staging a motor vehicle collision, and one count of racketeering.

The investigation started in April, when the Louisiana Department of Insurance alleged that Sampson committed insurance fraud in February 2025.

LSP said an investigation into the report revealed Sampson was allegedly involved in multiple crashes from May 2024 through September 2025 and planned, staged and orchestrated crashes to file fraudulent insurance claims.

According to LSP, Sampson made $156,000 from the victims of his claims
