A Ferrari driver who pleaded guilty last summer to vehicular homicide in the death of a 92-year-old man in Teaneck has been sentenced to probation, court records show.
Scott P. Lieberman , 64, of Franklin Lakes, will serve five years’ probation, along with 200 hours of community service in the death of Albert Schnellbacher, of Bergenfield.
Lieberman will also have his license suspended for one year, court records show.
Lieberman pleaded guilty in July to third-degree vehicular homicide. In exchange for his plea, prosecutors dropped a more serious charge of second-degree reckless manslaughter.
Investigators said Lieberman was speeding in his 2022 Ferrari Competizione, which he purchased in Rockland County, New York, two weeks earlier.
