The ACLU of Rhode Island is suing Gov. Dan McKee 's administration for blocking activists from holding a protest at the State House ahead of the governor's annual State of the State address .
The lawsuit was filed Oct. 28 in U.S. District Court for Rhode Island. Its lead plaintiff is Harrison Tuttle, the former president of the Rhode Island Black Lives Matter PAC, which has since dissolved.
