(Gray News) - The Trump administration is planning another shakeup involving leadership at Immigrations and Customs Enforcement field offices.

The Trump administration is reportedly frustrated that ICE agents are not arresting more people.

Earlier this year, President Donald Trump set a goal for ICE to arrest 3,000 unauthorized immigrants every day.

The agency has fallen short of that goal despite ramping up arrests in the recent months.

To help with immigration arrests, the Department of Homeland Security had US Border Patrol agents assist in the efforts. The agents have been at the center of some of the Trump administration’s “most controversial and aggressive” immigration enforcement actions, according to CNN .
