LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Staff at Louisville's hospitals are helping their youngest patients celebrate their first Halloween.

Norton Women's and Children's Hospital and University of Louisville Hospital dressed their NICU babies in spooky, yet adorable, costumes.

UofL Hospital said dressing the babies up for the spooky season is an annual tradition.

A hospital spokesperson added that the hospital's nursing staff help raise money each year to purchase the costumes.

At Norton, officials said Angie Lewis, Becca Epling and other NICU nurses spend hours each year on their day off to take the photos for families.
