CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Election day is right around the corner, and we’ve got you set with everything you need to know as a voter in Mecklenburg County this year.

Early voting ends on Saturday, Nov. 1, and Election Day follows just days later on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Below is a list of subsections with relevant information to help guide Charlotte voters through this year’s election.

Registering to vote

First things first -- you must be registered to vote.

The deadline to register in North Carolina is 25 days before Election Day; therefore, at this point, if you haven’t done so, you will not be able to vote.
