CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A major insurance company will bring 300 new jobs to Charlotte when it opens its newly announced office in the city’s South End neighborhood.
The company -- Pacific Life -- is investing $12.3 million in its new Charlotte office, North Carolina Gov. Josh Stein said Tuesday.
“Companies like Pacific Life know they can find the deep pool of specialized talent they need in North Carolina,” Stein said in a . “Charlotte’s national reputation as one of the nation’s top financial services centers continues to attract great companies to our state.”
Pacific Life’s Charlotte office will be in the Queensbridge Collective building, which is on , just outside Uptown. The company will occupy three of the building’s floors, spanning a total of 68,000 square feet.
