In a bid to ensure maximum passenger safety in view of Cyclone 'Montha, Indian Railways has announced major operational changes, including the cancellation of 61 trains.

The decision comes as part of precautionary measures coordinated with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and disaster management authorities.

According to official sources, a total of 61 trains have been cancelled, comprising:

4 trains on October 27, 2025

48 trains on October 28, 2025

8 trains on October 29, 2025

1 train on October 30, 2025

Some of the important trains cancelled include:

07166 Bhubaneswar New–Hyderabad Special, cancelled on October 29

17479 Puri–Tirupati Express, cancelled on October 30

18464 Bengaluru–Bhubaneswar Prashanti Express, cancelled on October 29
