UFC 321 was a really weird event for the fans. While it had solid finishes from the start of the event, the main event disappointment was something no one saw. Tom Aspinall vs. Ciryl Gane ended in a no contest after Gane’s controversial eye poke. Now, apart from the headliners, two fighters are in the news, as just days after UFC 321, they got cut.

Hamdy Abdelwahab entered the UFC in 2022. After a three-year break from fighting, he had already had a career. Out of four fights, he won two, lost one, and had a no-contest. While he was competing relatively well inside the cage, it was still unclear what would have prompted his cut, especially after defeating Chris Barnett at UFC 321. Maybe something that happened behind the scenes led to this cut.
