SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - South Bend police are investigating a shooting near downtown South Bend this afternoon.

Police say they responded just after noon to the 500 block of W. Colfax Avenue near the River Suites apartment complex for a shots fired call.

There’s no word on the current condition of the victim.
