ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The City of Roswell is considering turning an aging shopping center into a mixed-use development.
For about 50 years, Roswell Town Center has sat at the corner of Highway 9 and Holcomb Bridge Road. But now, officials want to flip it into a 47-acre space full of commercial storefronts, homes, offices and more.
In a Monday meeting, the city’s mayor and council decided to enter into a non-binding agreement with the shopping center’s owners and Morris and Fellows Ventures, an Atlanta-based real estate developer. The city is tasked with zoning and planning, while the developer will create a master plan.
