Only one Papa Gino’s remains within the city of Boston .
The New England pizza chain closed its Hyde Park store, located at 1270 River St., on Sunday, Oct. 26.
A spokesperson for New England Authentic Eats LLC, the parent company for Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches, confirmed the closure to MassLive on Tuesday.
“After much consideration, we decided to close the restaurant as part of a broader effort to focus our resources on other areas of our business,” the spokesperson wrote in a statement.
“We’re incredibly thankful to our employees, guests, and the local community for their support,” the statement read. “We look forward to continuing to serve our guests at our other 81 Papa Gino’s standalone locations and our 21 dual branded Papa Gino’s/D’Angelo Grilled Sandwich shop
