WAYLAND, Mich. — Someone is taking home the jackpot after a lucky turn at a Gun Lake Casino slot machine.

A guest was playing the Wild Ninja Dollar Storm slot machine earlier in October when they realized they won $514,378.

The person is choosing to remain anonymous, but casino staff say they are "elated" for the lucky winner.

“Here at Gun Lake Casino Resort, we share in the excitement of a massive slot machine jackpot such as this one at over $514,000. We congratulate the lucky winner, and we are elated they had a wonderful experience here at our luxurious casino resort,” said Brian Decorah, Senior VP/General Manager.

Gun Lake Casino is located off exit 61 on US-131. Their website states that they have 2,300 slot machines and a wide range of other gaming options.
